Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Petwell, operated by Petwell Inc. ("Petwell", "we", "us"), a Delaware C-Corporation. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use Petwell.

Petwell is an AI-native consumer pet health app. When something seems off with your dog or cat, Petwell helps you understand what a symptom could relate to, how urgent it looks, and what to watch for, and drafts the questions and history worth bringing to your vet. It also helps you track weight, medications, and vaccinations over time.

Petwell offers guidance and vet-visit prep. It is not veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment. It does not substitute for a veterinarian.

• Petwell will not name a diagnosis as fact. It speaks in terms of what a symptom could relate to.
• Petwell will never give a medication name, a dose, or a treatment to administer at home.
• Petwell is not for emergencies. Signs such as trouble breathing, collapse, suspected poisoning, severe bleeding, a seizure, a bloated belly with retching, or a cat straining and unable to urinate require immediate professional care.
• When Petwell detects signs that may be an emergency, it will tell you to contact an emergency vet now. In any situation where you believe your pet may be in serious danger, stop using Petwell and contact an emergency vet immediately.

Medical and veterinary decisions must involve a licensed professional. Petwell exists to help you prepare for those conversations, not to replace them.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep it current.

You may not create an account on behalf of someone else without their consent. You may not share your account credentials.

We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, with reasonable notice where practicable.

You may use Petwell only for lawful purposes and only as described in these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use Petwell to provide veterinary or medical advice to others, or represent it as a diagnostic or treatment tool.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or extract data from Petwell's systems.
• Introduce malicious code, attempt denial-of-service attacks, or attempt unauthorized access to Petwell systems.
• Use Petwell to store or transmit unlawful content.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate another person.

Petwell offers a free tier and paid subscription plans billed in US dollars. Prices are shown on our Pricing page and at checkout.

• Free: a few symptom checks each month, guidance, and vet prep for one pet. No card required.
• Plus: $8 per month or $80 per year. Unlimited checks, photo guidance, full tracking.
• Family: $15 per month or $150 per year. Everything in Plus, up to six pets, household sharing.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you will not be charged for the following period.

We do not offer refunds for partial periods except where required by law. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at support@petwellget.com and we will review it promptly.

Prices shown during beta or testing periods may not reflect final pricing. We will give you reasonable notice before any price change takes effect for an existing subscription.

You own the pet health data you log into Petwell. We hold it to provide the service. We do not claim any ownership over your pet records, symptom descriptions, photos, or profile information.

You can export your data or permanently delete your account and all associated data from Settings at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your data.

Petwell is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petwell Inc. disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Petwell does not warrant that its guidance will be accurate, complete, or appropriate for your pet's specific situation. Guidance is informational only and is not a substitute for a veterinarian's professional judgment, physical examination, or diagnostic testing.

We do not warrant that Petwell will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Petwell Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, even if we were advised of the possibility.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Petwell will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US$100, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. Some of the above may not apply to you in those jurisdictions.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email and by posting the updated Terms with a new effective date. If the changes are material, we will give you reasonable notice before they take effect. Continued use of Petwell after the update means you accept the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware or Texas, and you consent to that jurisdiction.

Before bringing any formal claim, please contact us at legal@petwellget.com and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the matter.
