Nora Whitfield kept notes and photos scattered across her phone: symptoms, when they started, questions she kept forgetting to ask. She wanted those notes to finally do some of the work. Petwell is what she built.

When something seems off with a dog or a cat, the internet swings between “it is probably fine” and “this could be serious” in two clicks. You end up more anxious than when you started, or you wait too long on something that actually mattered.
The vet visit does not solve it either. You finally get there and forget half of what you noticed, or when it started. The appointment runs short and you leave with the same questions.
Modern vision and language models can read a plain description and a photo the way a thoughtful person would. That changes what is possible. A tool that reads your words and the photo on your phone, explains what it could relate to, gives an honest urgency read, and drafts the right questions for the vet is now buildable. That is what Petwell is.
